Andamento Level 1 - Introduction to Classical Andamento

An introduction to the basic Mosaic Opera including the following,

1. Opus Regulatum

2. Opus Tessellatum

3. Outlining Rows

4. Opus Palladianum

5. Opus Circumactum 

​6. Solomon's Knot


We will learn about each technique in three ways.

1. Looking at mosaic examples.

2. Practicing the techniques through drawing.

3. Consolidating through making a physical sample.

4. Samples are started in class and finished for homework between lessons.
