Students learn to mix colours and to create blends before applying their underpainting, Over this they design and paint colourful beach huts embellished with their own sense of style.

Wings and Things DryPoint Printing

Time: 10am - 3pm Venue: 90-92 Great Western Highway Woodford Fee: $100 including GST and Materials Creative Kids Vouchers Accepted Ages: 9 and up Tutor: Caitlin Hepworth Workshop Description: During this one day workshop students will gain a sound introduction to Drypoint Printing. Students will develop two compositions out of found or drawn imagery before transferring these to acetate plates with a scribe. Using soya based inks students will create a proof print to evaluate their plate before developing a series of prints using the intaglio press. Students will have opportunity to selectively embellish prints with hand colouring using watercolour.
Each participant will be provided with a mount board suitable for display in an 8 x 10 frame.
