Beginning Students: Tools and materials are supplied
As part of this introductory experience for beginning students all the tools and materials are supplied to complete a range of small projects. Students are issued with a tool box for use in the studio which contains the tools and safety equipment needed. Students can work with tiles from the studio collection of vitreous glass, opus romano, speciality gems, porcelain tile and more. This does not include smalti or golds. |
Intermediate students: BYO tools and materials.
Intermediate students purchase their own tools and develop their own materials kit which enables them to work independently on projects between classes. They may supplement their collection by purchasing some basic materials from the studio such as substrates, hangers, adhesives and some tiles. |
