Enhance your mosaic vocabulary and visual grammar with the Art of Andamento, a comprehensive curriculum for students of mosaic.
This carefully crafted program, refined over two decades of teaching practice and curriculum development, equips students around the world with a robust set of skills that will enable them to design, plan, execute, evaluate and problem solve their way through their own mosaic projects as well as ignite desire for the enquiry, experimentation and extension needed in independent practice.
Explore a sequential and progressive approach that fosters a deep understanding of visual grammar, mosaic vocabulary, and fundamental principles of visual arts.
The curriculum builds confidence through consolidating and extending aspects of students’ prior learning and supplementing their face to face learning experiences.

I completed Level 1 and Level 2 simultaneously. Caitlin is an experienced and patient teacher and artist.
She is generous with her technical knowledge and feedback, and expertly wrangled the technical aspects of online learning to make it easy and straightforward for our student groups.

I can’t begin to explain how much I have benefitted from these courses, your teaching style and passion & knowledge is simply inspiring.
It is so clever how you have put these together to make sense after much practice, Haha!
I will never see another piece the same and am intuitively beginning to use all of the techniques you have shared, giving me a new found confidence and even more love for the art, definitely a mosaic junkie.

Each class is a perfect balance and pace of history, classical examples, drawings designs and making physical mosaic samples.
Caitlin’s classes cater for students with varying levels of experience with a focus on learning each week’s skill and applying that knowledge in subsequent lessons.

Her feedback is thorough and generous, and she encourages students to learn from each other in a positive, supportive environment.
I highly recommend Caitlin’s classes and I can’t wait to enrol in the next level.
